Rather than start a new post on the topic I figured I'd chime in on this one.  I have the same issue, I've not checked the fuse but assuming it's not that and the cord is seated correctly, how does one go about obtaining a new heating element?

Excellent in fact.  I love a company that says "hey if you want to troubleshoot this we can save a lot of time".  My smoker is back up and running at 100% again!

I brought my Digital Smoker home yesterday and immediately went through the seasoning process. Tonight I came home from work at six and put chicken on and set the temp for 220f, by 9 the smoker the smoker had reached a whopping 167.

I then signed on here, did about 6 unsuccessful searches and found this thread. It's 11:15PM  but after following all the suggestions my smoker is up the temp.

Thanks guys.
