Ka Honu, I'm with you on this one. I don't give my washer or dryer a name, but have known some southern boys that insisted on giving there Smoker's and Grill's a name. One friend of mine from KY went to great
lengths to find the name of the plane his grampa was shot down in ww2.

My Toys are all on an "at will" contract and I can name them or release them at any time.

I'm not about to start trying to assign names to inanimate objects - I can barely remember my own and SWMBO's (I think her's is, "Yes, Dear").

My dad was a big western fan and he use to name his cars or trucks after his fav cowboy at that time (Nellie & Trigger). Go get in ole Nellie and we'll go to town. I am on my count down with my first little smoke run. Ck Breast, marinated Pork Chops and some sausage. Everyone is out of town except me so I didn't try to get crazy. Smoker held steady on the temp. This is a nice lil smoker. I'm impressed. i did bnls sknls chicken and I wish the meat would darken some.

I'm almost certain that one of my smokers is in fact female!
I still can't resist the urge to hang around her even when she's hot enough to smoke cause I know in the end when she's all cooled down I'm gonna get something delightful out of the deal. He he he.
LQ I know, I know, Ann gets extra carrots for that answer. :o ;D
I really shouldn't be posting after bloody Marys in the morning but couldn't resist. :D
