5 hour cook(give or take)....4 hours of hickory...@200.

Its pretty much a trial run=)

For the rub I used a couple of handfuls of paprika and brown sugar.  A handful of salt and pretty much every other spice that sounded good at the time...i.e. garlic, onion, ground mustard, black pepper.

I was very exact....um yeah

Sounds like a plan to me.

I would cook them until the meat starts to pull away from the bone ends.

Four hours of Hickory should be plenty strong.

Stilly, I kinda make sauces and rubs the same way.  It's difficult to publish a recipe.  But, it usually tastes good.  ;)

Agreed here.  From past experience, this might take longer than you think.  If that ends up being the case, wrap them in foil and put 'em back in for a while longer.  A litle liquid wouldn't hurt to keep them from drying out (the braising part).

That's probably more than I'd use.  But to each his own.  See how you like 'em and adjust from there for the next time.

Where there's smoke, there's food.

I hope your first Ribs turn out as good as my first attempt.
I'm going to try some Rib-lets this weekend.
My best to you, Nibby
