Just tried out my new dehi a nesco gardenmaster. Worked great it took only 4 hrs. at 160F to finish and I did not have to rotate trays. Very impressed with this unit compared to my old one. I have a lot better control of the process than I do in my Bradley. Stuff tasted great also.

Piker, tell us a little about what you did. Looks good.

I started out with a very lean sirloin tip roast, sliced about 1/4 in. thick. I used a wet marinade of soy sauce, worchestshire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder and garlic granules and a little cure #1. Mixed real good poured it on meat in food saver canister, put on marinate mode and then in fridge overnite. Into dehi next morning. Did not smoke it as not yet a real fan of smoked jerky. I am slowly doing more and more smoking to slowly aquire the taste. Piker
