Hi All,
Been all over this forum for a while now and finally pulled the trigger on the 4 rack digital model w. cold smoker adapter...the only problem is that I still have yet to try it!
Half of my time is spent in Canada, while the other half is spent here in Algeria on a work rotation. Ordered it online and it is sitting at home waiting for the first use...CAN'T WAIT!!!

Anyway, I look forward to learning this fine art from all of you and will be sure to keep up to date with new recipes, pictures, and...*lessons learned!*

Happy smokin!

Hi Hassihand and welcome to the forum.  That sounds like an interesting life style you have.  Looking forward to seeing lot of pictures of your results.  Again, welcome.  If you have questions don't hesitate to post them.

Good to have ya with us Hassihand!  I'm thinking you need to expose us
to some Algeria cuisine.  Hope your rotation is almost up so you can get
that bad boy fired up!

Sounds like you need two of those bad boys, that way you can enjoy it in both places.  ;D Welcome to the forum Hassihand!

Haha, don't think the Algerian customs people would let that get too far past the front door! Luckily I work with a lot of Americans that really know how to do it up. There are a bunch of top grade smokers around our compound rigged and welded together from all kinds of 40gal drums and some BIG ones that come out on special occasions.

Man, thinking about it makes me wish it was a special occasion today! Nothing like a big smoked ham sandwich covered with bacon and a side of pulled pork after being in a place for 25 days where pork is forbidden!

Next week back on home turf and the games begin.

Welcome to the fun Hassihand

Now that would be one heck of a sammie, ham and bacon topped with pulled pork.

Man, 25 days with no pork, thats gotta suck.

Hi Hassihand and welcome to the forum.  That sounds like one heck of a good porker meal  :D
