I'm noticing that the latest upgrade has change formatting in many of the recipes that are posted. The main change is with lists, but many more problems with tables and links (especially links within a page). Links to a single post no longer work, instead of opening up a single post it takes you to the post on the thread. For example if you go to the FAQ section and click a link, in the past a window would pop up displaying that post, now it takes you to the post in the thread itself (sometimes to the middle of the post).

I'm still gathering information, and will send all noted glitches to Olds. In the mean time if you spot something other then the above mentioned problems please send me a PM or email describing the problem and a link to the recipe or article your found the problem.

Hab PM to me your phone number and I will pass it on to Trey. It would be best if you talked directly with him.

I've notice it runs slower than it used to, at least for me.

Hab, I left a message on your home machine.  What FAQ are you referring to?  I cannot seem to find what you are talking about so I can look into the link issue.

Hi Cyber Dude;

Sorry I missed your call, and I didn't check my answering machine until this morning. The problems seem to be glitches or bugs from the upgrade. During the next 3 days I'm not going to be home during the day until about 4 PM. It is best to set a time to contact each other.

Here is the link for the FAQ's. In the past I was able to have a single post open up in it's own window. Now it just direct you to the post within the thread, with the other posts visible.

My biggest concern is the link within a page no longer works since the upgrade. When you click on a link it now takes you to the home page. I looked at the HTML codes, and they were not changed during the upgrade. I've taken the following post off line, but you can access it through this link.

Also I could not locate the online help for the Forum.

I have gone to vBulletin and confirmed that the show individual post option is no longer available.  The behavior of opening to the post as requested along with the rest of the thread is now the correct behavior.  The other posts will be visible.  As for the anchored links, I am afraid that the conversion may have broken the anchors.  Will keep looking at that.

I've tried writing a new post using anchore links, and it also take me to the main page. Is there an online help for version 4?  I've join the vBullentin forum about a week ago, but have not been given permission to post yet.

Also can we trouble shoot through posts on the recipe site?

Ok, I have the last bit of information.  Anchors will no longer work (currently) because the new version of vBulletin apparently declares a base URL.  This means that anchors will open to the root as they are now.  There are several people looking into a solution now.  I will see if I can find one on my own as well.

EDIT: They have this fixed for v4.0.4 (yet to be released).  I will see if the code to fix this can be released from vBulletin.

That encouraging information. Thanks for you hard work and time looking into these issues.
