I used to wake up in the middle of the night and get the "Are you alright, you feel okay") type of questions. Now even if I get up just to pee at night I come back to bed and she says half asleep "Hows the smoker doing? You need another beer?'. Gotta love that girl!!!  ;D

Jan is way cool with it.  She's normally the one who says "what are we smoking this weekend?"  This weekend she wants me to do 6 butts, 3 pastramis and chicken breasts and burgers.  This was all her idea.  She even said "I'll do the hard part if you will just tend to the smoker".  She's turning into a pretty good little butcher.  Knows how to trim butts, briskets, loins.  Loves to make different rubs.

Yep, I would say the Iceman and I are pretty lucky!

It looks good on her and she found some earrings to match it.

A typical comment now might be "you're not going to smoke that ?"
Or its OK ( in terms of a food ) but its way better out of the smoker
She fetches beer and cigars while I am slaving away at the  DBS
