Come on down Rick.  Hal and Squirtthecat(Pat) are coming down for the BBQ Festival weekend.  Plenty to eat and lots of fun!  Would be fun for all to get together.

Welcome Rick,

I feel this blue mist settling in!  Wonder why!

I wish we had a real University around here in Nashville, that had real tailgates!

Beaumont Inn - that brings up some memories.  Used to have some antique places wife and I would buy at at Harrodsburg and Nicolasville.  And we used to spend nights at Shaker Village.  Then for a few years I did a lot of projects in Lexington and Morehead and got to eat some of their burgoo again.  One of my subs would bring some to the jobsite.  Never did get to eat at the Inn.

You do have one real tailgate there every other year. ;) We tailgate the Vandy/UK game, as a matter of fact our largest tailgates have been in Nashville. We had 450 at our tailgate in 2007 and all three of our Music City Bowl games drew huge crowds. UK will also play WKU at LP Field two times in the next 4 years, so we will be back for those games as well as the Vandy.

Even though I am a Kentucky Colonel, I have never been to one of their yearly gatherings, but I hear the pork chop sandwiches and burgoo they serve is as good as it gets. Gotta make that trip one of these days.

hktkct, I get the feeling there are no dumb questions around here, and thats a welcome change from most forums.

Love hearing from you Cat fans!!
