I am new to the forum, I just received my new generaton and will fit to my old home made smoker, I ordered the Auberon dual probe and a heating element from Granger. Where are you guys getting the heat proof wires?

Welcome!   We spent my 40th bday down in Key West...   Beautiful time.  Awesome food.

I *think* some of our guys order the high-temp wiring from this place:

Welcome to the forum stonedcrab!  A great place to hang out.  Did we say we like pics!  of food of course, but also of your smokers - especially the homemade ones!

Welcome, Stonedcrab!

As a Miamian, I have many fond Joe's stories, and can only hope that the BP situation does not lead to the end of edible crab for the foreseeable future.  :'(  Key West is the best!

Hi Stonedcrab.  Welcome to the forum.  You might be able to get the wire from a local hardware or appliance service store.
