first smoke

Made my first smoke Friday, kept it simple, 4 turkey thighs. It all went great and the end product, which ended up in a turkey salad for turkey wrap sandwiches got rave revues.  Her are a couple of pics.

Checked to make sure they where done:, cooking temp was a bit high – but it was my first:

My Second smoke, I just finished, was a small whole chicken, and a large RB. More pic's to come. It went fantastic.

Sorry I missed your first couple of post! And it looks like you got things under control and have the PIC thing figured out right off the bat. That's some nice looking turkey thighs you did. Remember vent wide open on poultry (I leave mine wide open all the time, it's one less variable to worry about). And help of any kind is only a question away!
