Starter for mikeradio ........... The Modern Day Pony Express!

Mike and I have been trying to figure out a way to get him some sweet bread starter.

With him being in Canada and me being in Texas, it became a distance thing and the possibility

that the starter would not make the Journey. When Quarlow decided to have CT shipped to his Aunt's

House and him pick it up, We saw the opening.

I got Mike two starters ready.



Took one and halved it and vac pak'ed it and froze it.

Took the other and halved it, vak pkg'ed it, inserted each half in a plastic jar, and duct taped it up.

Both got shipped Tuesday afternoon and will arrive tomorrow (Friday).

Q is going to pick them up and fridge, refreeze the ice packs, repackage and ship off to Mike on Monday or Tuesday.

I think it's gonna work!

We'd better start up another collection to bail Q out of prison - when he gets busted for smuggling!

I feel like a father seeing his child for the first time ;D ;D
