Good Day to all!

It would be a blessing for me if any of you can guide me in my pirsuit to make available to the philippines.....The best hotdog in manila!

I am an entrepreneur here in the Philippines who simply loves american Hotdogs! I go there (USA) for vacation every or every other year and bring home hotdogs from your grocery.  The likes of Nathans, Ballpark, Thomasville etc. I think its the all beef I like the best.

I dont know why, but, I just want to make my own brand and sell here in the philippines.  For us here, your grocery hotdogs are (in my view) better than what we have here. So, I'm starting from scratch and I want to build a company that will be known as the best hotdog in manila!

I want to learn how to make beef hotdogs using the least investment as possible but that will also look like the ones I buy there in your groceries (very professionally made; i.e. all straight and uniform, vacuum packed)

Ive asked around here locally on info how to start...I was just demorallized when i was told that the only smokehouse available here that i saw is $45,000... but thats production scale "I know what im doing" size smokehouse.

I was so happy to find Bradleys website from amazon and find smokers for $500 or less.   That rekindled my quest!

Question: I remember the agent telling me that the smoker is already the dryer, steamer and smoker in 1.  Does the hotdog making process need to go through all those?

What other equipment will i need? What are the steps to making all beef hotdog? what kind of meat? recipe? my objective for now is to make an all beef hotdog that tastes like the ones you have in your groceries.

That was long! I hope, with your help, I can put all the pieces together to achieve my goal.... or at least point me to who can (for free)
Thank you in advance!

sincerly yours,

Hi and welcome to the forum.  Go to this site and scroll down to Frankfurter or Hot Dogs for some recipes.  There is one for all beef.  Good luck
