My wife and I purchased our very first smoker last night, we are very excited about getting this going for the weekend!

We went in looking for something else, but ended up with the 6 Rack Dgital Smoker.

Having never smoked anything in my life you can imagine I know nothing about the process.

The machine is still in the box, but will be looking to have our first home smoked dish tomorrow night!

Any tips or tricks anyone can provide will be very much appreciated, this includes what we should dive in and smoke first.

Is that a reference to a Humble Pie Song?

Hi thirtydaZe and welcome to the forum.  Make sure you season the unit first.  Then, smoke away.  :D

Welcome to the forum ThirtydaZe, in the past chicken has been suggested as an easy and cheap first smoke.  I did one last weekend, split in half, with Jan's rub and 2hrs of apple smoke.  It was very tasty.
