minimum temp for ham

any fast answers to the minimum internal temp of of a ham ..im at 126* now and thinkin of shuttin er down at about 140.. and then frozen..till c'mas.. itll be cooked again at c'mas to a internal temp  temp of 172* or is it 152*?  can i stop it between temp of 139 -142 *..thanks for any replys on this

You are safe to pull it at 142 as far as I know. someone with more expertise should be along shortly.

When you reheat, I believe your looking for an internal of 152 as opposed to 172.

Trapper you can shut her down at 140º if your going to reheat at Xmas to 152º in the oven. Pull it and cool it down in the fridge as quickly as possible.

thanks 10.5  im sure it was you that told me that last winter when i was doing the same thing ..just couldnt remember the temp i could sut er down at
