Door seal

I was wondering if anybody else has had issues with the door seal? my seal feels hard at the bottom of the seal and flexable at the top, Bradley has sent me a new seal but before installing it i was looking for pointers form the group here as what to change or look out for next time. any suggestions?

mine has been like that since I got it and have never had any problems in 2 years.
