Can't say what the effect of the low outside temp would be, but when I did a 12# turkey it took me 7 hours at 225*

wondering how your turkey roast turned out. I got one I am going to try that is all breast stuffed back into the skin.  It is a pre brined breast, so was wondering if brining is even worth doing.

I find turkey usually takes 30 to 40 mins per pound. Just make to start early you can always keep it warm

WELL, STILL DID THE TURKEY THIS WEEKEND. BUT 17 INCHES OF SNOW FOLLOWED BY 30 BELOW WINDCHILLS. TURKEY WENT IN THE OVEN. GOOD TURKEY BUT SURE TOOK THE FUN OUT OF IT.
