is it easy to program the plug and play?

i suck with electronics.  after i get this plug and play hooked up, is it easy to program temps and times and things like that.  it seems like it is confusing.

A caveman might be able to do it but I couldn't, that's why I had to call you to help me set it up when I first got mine.  Thud.  ;D
