Also I will add that I have been on a strict meat spending allowance for about 6 months due to my hoarding.

Oh no! The pig guy called today wanting to know if I wanted a half a hog on the 14th of next month.
I told him to call me back only if he ends up with an odd number of halves then I'll "help" him out. ::)

I buy my cattle from him in the spring but now and then he raises a few hogs to order.

Caney - It is a bit of both. I look forward to Friday's for the grocery flyers to see what deals are on this week and then I plan my route.

This is an on going battle with the wife, kinda like the spice cabinet post somewhere else on the forum.
