Leftover sheep casings

I made a batch of breakfast sausage using sheep casings and accidentally soaked twice as much as I needed to.
The ones I didn't use are still threaded onto a strip of flat plastic (Eastman brand, from Cabelas)
Can I re-salt them and put them back in the fridge or save them in some other way?
I'd hate to throw them out :(

I have taken hog casings that I had soaked but didn't need and just resalted them and put them back in the bag. I 'm sure that if they were salted when yo got them yu should be able to just re-salt them.

Yep.....salt them up and put back in the fridge and you are good to go.


Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

With all the sausage making going on I was doing a little reading up and ran across this very issue and like everybody is saying re-salting is the ticket!
