Just noticed this tonight...  I have 2 cracks that I just noticed this evening when doing a load of jerky.  They are both on the bottom plastic trim on the door.

Anyone else have or heard of this?

Warrior,
That thing cracks. Mine is cracked, and if you talk with Chez he will tell you it is a design fault in his option. You can replace it. It does not cost much. If under warranty Bradley will replace it. However, the new one will crack as well.

One of mine is also cracked.  I think the best way of handling it is to run a bead of flexible clear silicone across the crack as a filler.  My other smoker's trim is still intact, but it will ultimately crack too.  It is important that moisture doesn't get down into that area, and the silicone should solve the problem.

I have this problem as well. I noticed it right after getting the smoker. I called Bradley and they promptly sent me a new one. After reading here about it I decided to wait on the change out since it dosen't seam to cause any problems.

If the silicone seems like too much of a project, at least slap a piece of plastic electrical tape over it.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

Welcome to the Forum,  Warrior . . . sorry to be so late in welcoming you . . . don't be a stranger! (and I guess I've been lucky since I don't have a crack in mine . . . yet).
