Couldn't Wait

Went by Sam's on the way home tonight with a plan to get a brisket and a double pack of butt. One butt is for breakfast sausage I plan on making tomorrow. The other butt and brisket are for the Super Bowl (do I get in trouble for saying that? or do I have to say big game?). I just could not stand having all that meat sitting around so I decided to smoke the smaller butt - 8lbs. Gave it some original Salt Lick. Being a rebel and doing 8 hrs of hickory. Can someone say "give me some STARNES!"

Have you tried the Salt Lick Sauce?

Pretty good stuff.

The chipotle has a nice bite.

That was Sweet Pea standing there doing quality control and making sure I pulled it correctly. She no like Starnes. Sweet Baby Ray's is her fav.

Pencil? Wife is a teacher, pencils everywhere!
