When we did ours, the only thing we did was move the appliances.    Everything went in the garage except the fridge.   That we put in the dining room.   Needed the ice cubes close by ;).  The cabinet makers did or arranged for everything.    Here is a quick pick after some of the demolition
.   Just the old floor had to be removed.
The cabinets arrived and good thing the installer knew where everthing went

Lastly the finished product.   It now has pot lighting,  under counter lighting, new location for the fridge and stove, a pantry, and a peninsula

Nice, RAF!  I like the way the cabinets are "connected" over the sink and the continous crown.
I'm doing that as well.  I think it looks a lot better (finished) that way.
Is that a "garden" window?

It's just a bay window.   Another one in the dining rooms.   My wife used to try and grow herbs in there as the windows face the south.   She doesn't have a green thumb and can't seem to grow anything.   I guess that's why they sell herbs in the stores.
