All I can say is that from a normally cynical guy... it's impossible to be in London today and NOT get caught up in the mood. What a day...

They do make a nice couple. I would say that the events of today raised the spirits of the entire country today.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Or is it the day off that you are enjoying the most,

I recorded it for my wife - she likes that kind of thing.  I have to admit they do know how to orchestrate pomp and ceremony.  Our local rag said that the majority of the costs are being borne by the tax payers.  Sounds like the US.

Yes...  absolutely...  but it's bittersweet....  I'm self-employed...  no workey = no money!!

As a slightly related aside...  not sure if any of you fellow Canadians and/or Albertans happened to see the following clip on CTV 10ish days ago:

Anyway, it's my best friend's folks.... they're here in London now, and due to her limited mobility (try to ignore her getting up and walking during the interview  ::) ::) ::)) she was incredibly lucky to have been granted a place in the disabled area immediately in front of the Abbey this morning during the wedding.  Essentially as front row to it all as you could get without having actually been inside!

She's incredibly thrilled, and if anyone is reading any of my other posts today, I'm hosting a 25-30 person BBQ on Sunday which they'll be attending....  hence all my last minute questions about sausage recipes etc!
