dog bones any input (ideas) ???

MallardWacker

I'm not going to tell you what I thought when this first came across my email......However that does sond like a good idea. But to tell you the truth my dog is weird and doesn't care if it is smoked or not-it just inhails anything and/or everything BUT what this sounds great for is like for soup bones or for a pot-o-beans.... I know putting in a butt bone into a pot of beans is down right excelent.

It's not how much you smoke but how many friends you make while doing it...

yeah theres a guy that sells them at a market around here.just wondering how one would smoke bones for dogs

Oldman

Well I have 3 dogs.
Now Skyway will only take his milkbones if smoked in Oak as long as they are not the green ones.
Bonnie on the other had likes the red colored milkbones smoked Maple.
Reba is Adler only. She does not care what color milkbones they are.

So there you have it Smoke fans...a tough croud to please.

OH personally I like my milkbones plain or smoked in Pecan [:D]

The pot 'o Beans idea sounds GREAT! (too bad for the dog).

I don't ever have many beef bones since I buy cryo-pak 'insides' or 'flats' most of the time, but I DO have lots of pork bones I usually trow away... will have to try this idea (for the beans, screw the dog).

Problem with fido chewing on smoked pigs ear or rawhides is that it stains the carpet, his bed, MY bed and whatever else he lands on. But I will say he loves the smoked stuff over plain. So do bear.

Wonder if he'd prefer SMOKED cats ear over plain.... ? :)

(we have a ferral cat problem in Wis- not to mention next door)

Best know not for soup, but rather smoked meats...
