A local store has bottom round on at a good price so I'm thinking of picking some up for a batch of jerky. My question is a total noob one: when you are slicing for jerky do you slice with the grain or across it. I'm guessing with but I thought I'd ask.

For ease of chewing cut across the grain for a tougher chew cut with the grain.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

I spend a lot of time to get the jerky right so I want the chew to last. I perfer to cut with the grain.
