Half way during my 4th smoke in a two week old smoker the heating element goes out...really? Very disappointing. I have 30 plus people coming over, its an hour and half to the place where I bought it so driving there to try and take it back is out. Not impressed!

I guess I can postpone my party for 3-5 business days.

It happens...what are you cooking?  Lots of stuff can be finished in oven or grill.  Don't be discouraged.

Joe... Really sorry to hear this, have you called Bradley at their 800 # they usually can get a element out to you overnight, I lost an element a week or two ago and I keep a extra element here and it only took me 20 minutes to change it out...I am sure The Bradley Company will stand behind you 100%. and I understand the inconvenience but the Bradley Company had a bad bunch of elements and bet they will be real happy when they work through them... good luck

Sorry to hear about your element....been there!  Bradley is a great company and will take care of you.

I have an extra element also.

As mentioned earlier, many items you can apply the smoke then move them to the grill, or oven.

Since you have only used the Bradley a short while, you may want to look through the tips and trouble shooting ideas if you click on the link below. I know that a failed element is the most likely problem, but no heat from the element can be cause by other reasons. Especially with the digital you need to make sure you press the buttons firmly and dead center.

You never know! It's worth a try to do some trouble shooting.

You might read my thread on checking an element before replacing the old one to be positively sure that is the problem.

I had two go bad but the third one has lasted a lot longer. Seems bradley might have it fixed. Spare is always a good idea.
