Missouri river flooding

I have had a busy couple of months at work because of these flood gates on the oahe dam on the missouri river have been opened wide up and flooding people out.  Each one of these flood gates are 19 1/2 feet in diameter.  It is pumping out enough water to fill a football field 1 foot deep every second.

Here is the aerial view.  The erosion is incredible.


This was standing right on top of one of them.  Scary!
