Labor day weekend Summer Sausage

Jim that is some great looking sausage. Did it pass the daughter test?

OH it passed the test with flying colors.  I was not aware of the whole plan these girls hatched up.  Seems like another daughter that lives in Atlanta had planned to come down and go with her Sister to Key West for the Labor Day weekend.  Well, yesterday evening they show up at the door and I was shocked to see them as I had no idea the other Sister was down.  Had a nice chat and when they got ready to leave they both went to the freezer and cleaned it out.  Took all the Jalapeno & Cheddar, Kielbasa, Summer Sausage and left over brisket.   I did get a "Dad we love you so much" so it is all good. Wife had cleaned me out when she went to the daughters in Orlando before she went to NC to the 4th daughters to grand kid set.  I sure thought I was good on my stash since the wife cleaned me out and now it  looks like I have a lot of smoking ahead of me to get my stash back up.
