so is that a no for the slow cooker.didnt want to run the oven all night cause along with the bradley breaking down so did my a/c last night.Does anyone know Bradleys warranty?

classicrockgriller

one year from date registered.

On the slow cooker, I have not done one from a raw state, so I can't help you there.

But I wouldn't wait too long before you do something with it.

It needs to come up to a higher temp, soon.

I appreciate all the help!!I put it in the slow cooker with 2 beers and 2 cups apple juice we'll see what happens. As for the Bradley I'll trouble shoot it tomorrow when I'm not as aggravated and buzzed up. :'(

Well good news is the butt is almost to 190 IT in the slow cooker.Bad news is my heating element is fried no continuity  through it. Guess I'll call Bradley Monday and see if they will warranty it.

classicrockgriller

Good Deal.

Bradley will fix you up.

Just make sure you register your Bradley before you call.

You can do that on Bradley home page.

Just registered it thanks for all your help.Do you know if there is an aftermarket element that is better?I'm going to add a second element to help prevent this problem in the future.

Just to give you the skinny on what happened.Bradley's supplier, supplied them with some bad

elements that went into smokers that got shipped everywhere. When the defect became known

they changed suppliers of elements, but the smokers with bad elementswere already in stores.

You just happen to catch one that had the bad element. They have since fixed the element problem.

Call Bradley on Monday and they will take care of you.

As far as installing second element, All three of mine have dual elements.

About how much does it run to put an extra element in the BDS. Is it fairly simple. I was thinking about it. Seems like it would get up go temp and recover quicker.

Mike probably less that $25.

If you still have my # call me and I will send you some of the parts.

The hi-temp wire and connectors, you can get at Allied Kenco off 610

and Shepherd. I'll look, I may have some but I brought some up to MWSO

and not sure what is left.

I have it in a pm you sent me. At work so I'll try tomorrow. Thanks
