Going to Tehachapi, CA this week....

....for our annual apple picking. We usually pick 100-150lbs. Anyone have some apple recipes they want to share? We usually stop at The Burger Spot to eat bison burgers...but does anyone have another suggestion?

Henry's Cafe is the go to place to eat up there! The food is great ;D

I live about 30 minutes away from Tehachapi ;D

When you get off the 58fwy onto Tucker Road heading to Techachapi Blvd it is on the left hand side ;D

Thanks Muebe for suggestion of Henrys. I know all kinds of fast food places have sprung up there over the years....but we don't do junk food much at chains.

Got out to Tehachapi yesterday. Made a day trip out of it. Left around 5am back by 2:30pm. Couple pics.

Each laundry basket hold 50lbs apples.....

And Henrys has a great breakfast Muebe!
