Over 60 degrees today and got the itch. Saddled up the tractor and plow and started doing our gardens. Got the one for the deer's plowed , my neighbors plowed and our vegetables plowed and the onion garden plowed. Not doing the strawberry garden yet. Went back and rototilled and they now look good and almost like sand. Should be starting our plants indoors in about a week or so. Ordered a new bedder for the tractor and going to try some new things  this year. Got to get our gardens going. It's another Hobby I guess but at the same time I doubt we could afford to eat good if i had to buy it all. So it's not all for fun. But it is great to have things to share with people and family. The smiles on their face is worth all the work. I also have some people I take to who wouldn't have no veggys and food with out mine. 3 of them older veterans. It's a shame the way this country treats it's hero's compared to the illegals. Dad always teases i have a truck garden because it's so big. But i tell him it is not big enough because I know plenty more who could use some. Even talked my neighbor into making his garden larger so he can help.

I am envious! It gets so hot here to grow things, plus pretty much just a pool out back.  Mostly I can grow some tomatoes and jalapenos in pots.  Make sure you post pics of the fruits of your labor.

Looks great Viper. Sure is nice of you to take care of others as well.  :)

Viper, I sure wish I had some acreage like you to grow a big garden.  Grow as much as you can, never know when that may be all you will be able to afford to eat  :o

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

Sure is beautiful where you live.  Being in the desert has it's own different beauty...but dang I miss green sometimes!  So nice what you're doing to help others!
