Duh On Me

I cannot believe I did this.

I had to do some work today using my business drive. So I take out my gaming drive and slap in the business drive and fire her up.

Several hours later when I change back to my gaming drive and fire it up it would not launch Windows. ummmm saying to myself this is why I have removable hard drives so my business stuff is safe from game hackers.

I was thinking oh well I will just have to go a get another drive and it will be a long weekend before I get everything up to speed. Then I looked down and started to laugh at myself.

You see you must TURN ON and LOCK the drive into the caddy holder in order for it to run.  What I turn on was my back up drive and it has no Windows on it~~~LOL! [:D]

Oh ya this is not the first STUPID I've done. About 3 years back I lost my sound card. So I go get a new card. Install it and no sound..... Ummm what is this I say to myself... OPPS IT HELPS TO TURN THE POWER ON TO THE SPEAKERS DUMMY~~! [:0]

The older card went to a friend who was glad to get it and then he asked me if I would unplug my monitor as he needed a new one...[^]

Well that makes me feel better Olds. I just about threw the new DVD recorder out the window because of the constant "not able to down load dish input" signal. Well duh!! Try turning on the power to the sat box Ann said.[:I][:I][:I]
