Tri-tip -- pretty darn good

Ok -- all the talk about tri-tip got me wanting some, so made some this weekend.  Turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself (and everyone else agreed too).

Nothing too special -- just took it out of the fridge and rubbed some oil on it and then a combo of Brisket Rub and Montreal Style Steak Seasoning ... let it sit for 1 hour while I warmed up the smoker .. Smoked for 2 hours (40 minutes Mesquite and the rest Pecan) @ 180 til IT hit 130.  When it was close to 130 I fired up ye olde gas grill and when it hit 130 I put it on to my Grill Grates to sear and get it up to 140.  Pulled and wrapped in foil for 10 minutes.  Served with Santa Maria beans, salsa and garlic bread ... well and some Jerk Chicken and Chorizo for a real "mixed grill".  :)
