I bought a 5 yr old used OBS (black, 4 rack) off Kijiji a few weeks ago for $200.  Have used it twice with excellent results - first time was 2 chickens, cherry wood and last week did a pork butt roast (small, approx 4 lbs), maple wood for pulled pork.  It's really well-seasoned and the guy had $50 in Cabela's gift cards that I used to buy some bisquettes and a wireless temp probe.  Bought a whole butchered lamb recently and am going to try smoking some of that - maybe shanks.

Am really interested in getting an Auber dual probe plug-n-play p.i.d. and was wondering if they are sold by anyone in Canada - no luck finding that out on the web so far so I might end up just ordering it and a pack of puck savers directly from Auber unless anyone knows of a seller in Canada.

Am really glad to have found this forum and looking forward to soaking up all the great advice and suggestions and hopefully share some of mine as I gain some experience.

Welcome, unfortunatley there is no supplier for the Pid in Canada that I know of. That being said a lot of guys have Pids that they have ordered directly or off Ebay with no problems. Have fun and post some pictures.
