Hi all.
I felt I had just got to share this. An American night was the theme here.
Thought I would have a go at pulled pork and sauces. Rubbed two 6lb pork shoulders with a rub from nsxbill and marinated for 12 hours then placed them in the bradley with 4 hours of smoke (2hrs Jim Beam and 2hrs Apple) at a temp of 225.

I smoked them over night and the IT the next morning was 148. Discarded the used pucks replaced the water that was left in the puck tray with fresh orange juice (had no Apple). Then the wait was on. The temp predictably stalled for a couple of hours at 160, when it got moving again I finshed them of in the home oven uncovered in a roasting tin on a rack at a temp of 225 where the IT soon came up to 190. I then removed and FTCd .

While waiting we had a few beers and the antisipation was building. In the meantime I made a few Dipping sauces, I thought it would be better to serve seperate  giving my guests a choice as I did not know thier tastes. These were coutesy of nsxbill again and Habanero Smokers JD Dipping sauce both from the "Recipes from the Bradley Forums database", with I alteration I used Jim Beam instead of Jack Daniels. I suppose you could call it JB Dipping Sauce anyway they were both out of this world , cheers guys.

I removed the pork from the foil and WOW it just fell apart the aroma OOF!!! and that bark mmmmmmmm. This is the best tasing pork I have ever had and I really mean that and with those sauces it was piggy heaven.

I made my own cheese and onion bread cobs to go with it as well, not sure if that's quite American with pulled pork but they were great.

Anyway less of the chatter here are the pics.

Just before FTC.

Beig pulled, Makes me feel hungry every time!!!

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Thanks for your great comments.
It really means something when you have good comments from people who know what they are talking about. It shows that If you follow the tried and tested recipes and processes on this forum then you won't go far wrong.

I must admit It was one of the tastiest meals I've ever eaten ( have I allready said that  ::)) The guests said simmilar too. I will be doing it again soon. We have not stopped eating what was left its nearly all gone. I even made some more sauce up today to go with it. we are truly addicted.  ;)

Thanks again.
