I came across this on eBay and I'm probably gonna buy it. Seems like a great deal for my first smoker. Just wondering if anybody thought different or if it'll be a good investment?

That's a heck of a good deal and the shipping is almost free.

You will definitely enjoy that smoker. I have two 4 rack models and now wish I had a 6 rack because I started making sausages and the extra cabinet height is a real advantage.

Oh and you will get all the help and advice you desire from the good people on this forum.

Thats a very good price. I got mine at Cabela's last year for $300 amd have not been disappointed. Its a great buy even at full price and is well worth every penny!

6 rack smoker gives you  plenty of room.. for doing most anything
