your welcome sir, just relized you are the one who won my auction, now before it ship it out, i took out the alarm buzer on the guru, it was a big pain in the ass always going off, if you want i will put it back in, before you say yes, with it in once it goes off you have to push a button to silence it but if you open the door and temp drops, when it comes back to temp you have to re hit the button to silence the buzzer.

Probably leave it as is.  Send the buzzer with anyway though if you wouldn't mind!

Sorry I missed this post earlier.

The Raptor/Guru has a good neighbor mode, which means you can silence all alarms during the smoking period. To enable the "Good Neighbor" mode:

  • Push the power button;

  • Immediately push and hold the alarm button for at least two seconds (during the time you are holding down the alarm button, there should not be any lights on).

  • If you see any lights on while you are holding the alarm button, it's not going to go into the "Good Neighbor" mode. Turn the power off and try  again.

  • Release the alarm button, and the Guru will power up in the "Good Neighbor" mode. No alarms will function until you turn it off, and the Guru resets to the factory default settings.
