Its time to build another pot of Chili,,,,first we take 2 lb deer stew meat and 2 lb ground deer

Cube up the stew meat like so

Brown in bacon grease from a lb freshly cooked bacon, I always use fresh bacon grease

When nicely browned remove and allow to drain

Now throw in the ground meat in that same grease

When nicely browned remove and allow to drain

Now its time to build the Chili,,,,,,,,pealed tomatoes, quartered and some tomato paste

The stew meat

The ground meat, I was in an hurry here other wise I would add the ground meat at the end,,,,,,,stays more like ground meat that way

A softball sized onion, chopped

All the spices

Some pinto and kidney beans

Beef broth

Mix and throw on the lid

When the onions are almost tender throw in some jalapenos, some Hatch green chilies and to thicken it up a bit some corn meal
When the jalapenos are tender its time to eat, I have found that if you add the peppers at the end you get allot better flavor not just the heat of the pepper

Did this batch for a pot luck to eat last night that my son informed me about that same morning

He came home with an empty pot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,musta been good

Till next time,,,,,,,thanks for watchin
