Well mine was too but the only thing I held off on was the fan. I haven't heard of Bradley refusing a warranty yet. In fact they send parts to you. Not you to them. So if your comfortable with it go ahead. I haven't filled a warranty card out on much of any thing. And they haved never asked for it from me yet. But mine is passed now. and really never had a problem with mine. Not even the element. Which I bought two of one for a spare. This was my second element. Its all up to the people. If your not wanting to or not capable of fixing your own Id say pass, but if your mechanical. The thing is just a box, a heater and a switch. Not much cant be fix except the box. And most the boxes out last the warranty except the door. Which they send you just that.
