I been using it for almost a year now with no problems till tonight. For some reason it just hangs on searches or sometimes on pictures. If I use firefox it works just fine. Can't figure out what has changed with the google chrome. I know it updates automatically so maybe some update is screwing with me.

Nope. I use IE. never had much luck with Mozilla but I do keep it and safari browsers on both laptops as backup browsers. I had the unfortunate luck of having a browser go bad and didn't have a backup to access the Internet.
I had to download a browser to a flash drive from my kids laptop and then install it in my laptop.

I'm on Chrome with no issues, aside from Zynga's games on facebook, where it is expected to have problems no matter what browser is being used.

I have used Chrome on an older computer, and found it to be quite slow. I haven't tested it on my current system. I generally run IE10, and Firefox on occasion. Both run great, but I believe you need Win8 to run IE10, until Microsoft releases the Win7 version.

I use chrome on both the desktop and laptop. Love it most of the time. I found it was faster than both IE and Firefox. But I am now using Win 7 so I can upgrade IE to v8 or 9 so I will have to try to compare them again. Only problem with chrome that I have had is sometimes the shockwave app crashes. Not sure if its chromes fault or the app.

I'm using Windows XP Pro with IE 8.  Several utilities I've downloaded try to sneak Google Chrome in on me if I don't uncheck the obscure box that says to install it when I'm updating my primary program and then I have to go in and manually uninstall GC.

In protest I will not be using Google Chrome.

I like Chrome because it can update bookmarks (favorites) to a  different computer using Chrome. It runs slightly faster on my Windoze 8 laptop and desktop but I use IE10 most of the time. There are some websites that just do not get along with IE10 and that's when I use Chrome.

I've compiled Chromium (open source Chrome) on my Linux box and use it now and then.  Firefox is my main browser though.  it also resists that html 5 bug that lets sites drop gigabytes of junk on your machine.
