that made me laugh, ....most of the  seasoning and  cures are available for  cheaper and in a larger quantity that over all would make more bacon, ham, pastrami or any other cured meats  for less and you  can use a gallon sized bag or do what i do and use a Tupperware type container

I'm also wondering why they are including a thermometer with each kit. That has got to be the major cost of their kit.
