Hey Y'all from Inland North East of Washington!! Yeah, I'm a transplant from the South who wanted a change of seasons.  Wife got me a 6 rack DBS last week for being a great Husband.  So now I'm intrigued with what it will do for me.  Got it seasoned a couple days ago and taking her for a spin with wings and Jan's Rub.

Love the forum and the info from everyone, so only hope to add to the list later. As for the title? Yup, I'm a bee keeper in training this year and the chickens are for eggs this year and the smoker next...

Welcome aboard, you should be able to find hours and hours of reading here on the forum. Not to mention all the great recipes to try

Welcome aboard from Texas!  Great recipes, ideas and support here.  You could start with a pulled pork (Pork Shoulder), it is fairly easy and turns out amazing.  You can also try the smoked salmon and canadian bacon.  These are pretty easy if you follow the directions and are something I make often.

Tanks for the welcome.  Pulled pork is on my bucket list as the wife loves the North Carolina BBQ sauce and sour kraut on hers.

Pulled Pork is great and easy.  Of you have/get an internal thermometer it will ba a wise investment.  Also don't forget to FTC (fil - towel-cooler) those butts when finished cooking.
