Ok, feeling a bit stupid here...I just got my first Bradley smoker.  The digital 4-rack.  After putting it together, I have an extra piece that I can't find mention of in the manual, or a picture of.
It is a piece of metal, black, about 3"x2", with an angled lip on three sides, open on the 4th.  It has a hole drilled in the center at one end.

Any help??

The part you are describing is the push plate for the bisquettes, this means the pin that attaches it to the bisquettes advance motor
has fallen out.

You have a couple of options to get it fixed

1) Return it to the store you purchased it from tell them it is defective and they should replace it for you.

2) Call our customer service dept. on Monday @ 1-866-508-7514 and explain to the CSR person you have a defective generator
and need a replacement sent.

Our apologizes  for you receiving a defective smokers

Brian.
