Kinda thinking out loud here, living in the lower mainland and I'm looking for a source for bubba pucks what came to mind was ..... Using the outer ring of a bearing or a " race / rine ". They are stainless and with any luck inexpensive / free ?. Hey wait I might be on to some'n here. I'm going to go a local bearing shop .... I'll keep ya posted.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you have access to a band saw, stop by a muffler shop and pick up a scrap piece of new muffler pipe in the correct diameter and cut them on the band saw, I've been using a set for about a year now with no trouble and they were free.

Is it worth the trouble when they are only $15 on ebay?

$15 x 3 = $45 - a piece of scrap tailpipe shouldn't cost that !
