Pulled Pork  tonight

Picked up a couple butts at the local butcher shop  roughly  8.5 pounds apiece

Rub applied and ready for a trip to the smoker.  Went a little heavy with the rub

Started these at 3 pm yesterday, the  smoker was set at 220 degrees  here's  how they looked at 7 am this morning

Pulled the bottom one a 1pm this afternoon total time for it was  22 hrs to reach IT of 200

Second one finished about one hour later

Golly those look good! How did they pull for you?

They both pulled very well, the first one was gone in about a hour so no FTC for it..... that kept the tribe full and happy.
The second one got the FTC for about 3 hours...I'm sure it will be history by tomorrow...

Looking at those, any day that ends in "Y" is a time for pulled pork!
