The Bradley Smoke Generator only outputs about 125 watts.  enough to make the bisquettes smolder and not much else.  In the Bradley Smoker cabinet, the 125 watts translates to no more than 20-30 degrees above ambient.  The rest of the heat comes from the cabinet heater bulb which is 500 watts.  So in short, you will still need a primary source of cooking heat in your smoker since the smoke generator doesn't contribute much.
