Hello everyone!

Thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself so here goes. I am retired since two years back and before that I was teaching in automotive electronics, engine management and measurement techniques at an upper secondary school.

I have more than 35 years of experience in electronics and to name one area and that is, besides communication equipment and thousands other, with GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar).

My hobbies has always been electronics as well as amateur radio - for those who know what that is. At present I repair most stuff for the school I worked for and latest object from them is a BS1019EC that has a non working biscuit heater.

I have already started a new thread about this smoker so I think the very best is to continue there with my findings and questions, but ... only one question and that is if there exists a service manual for this model BS1019EC?

Hopefully I can help someone out there!

Thank you and all the best from 70 km South of the Arctic Circle in Sweden!

Thank you so much Edward176!

Of course I will share my smoking stories here! :-) I was about to share som pictures on the BS1019EC I am reparing at the moment, but I will do that later as soon as the spare parts arrive.

There are a few adds or changes on the wish list I got from an executive chef concerning the BS1019 software, but I do not know how responsive Bradley is for such requests ... we will see.

I am quite active on other forums as well and I chat regularly with a good friend – which also is a forum member - in Canada on Skype at least 2 times a week; it is mostly about electrical and electronics stuff but in a totally different area than smokers and the subjects are usually related to snow which was BTW added yesterday with a bit less than 4 inches at my location.

Snow!!!!!  Just received our first snow today, about 1 cm, with promise of LOTS more incoming. I guess winter has finally arrived here in Winter-peg, Manitoba ;)
