This may be of interest to some people, I suspect quite a few of the old timers here will not learn anything new but for the newer members it may be of some help. Having said that, a few of the old timers may well have useful contributions to make!  ;)

One of the organisers is John Watkins from Grakka, the UK importer who is very knowledgeable on all things Bradley, it is a distance learning internet course done by email hence is available to people in any country.

And it is FREE!!

Thanks for posting the link manx. I heard the fist lesson is "How to open the beer bottle one handed 101" :D Just kidding. Looks like something very useful regardless of experience. ;)

ThanX ManX!! I just signed up for it. I believe that I qualify as an "Old Timer", but I also strongly believe that anytime you think you can't learn anything new, it's time to go for a long walk in the Gobi Desert w/ Bermuda shorts. There's sooooo much going on in the world that we're ALL ignorant of some things, so we can never stop learning.

A wise man I knew long ago told me "the older you get, the dumber you get". I learned he meant as you grow the more you see how little you really know. I look forward to learning more. Thanks for posting this oppertunity

Just be aware the link was down for a while, the forum they have also set up as part of the process has very few posts in it and will never be anything on the same scale as this one.... but already it has been hit by the porn brigade! These morons get everywhere.  >:(

Yeah, I did have you down as one Kummock but ONLY as a highly experienced time served font of a lot of knowledge regarding curing and smoking and using a BS!! (grovel grovel!!)  ;D ;D ;D

Nice to see some people from across the pond signing up, modern day home curing and smoking is very much in it's infancy on this side of the pond compared to the US and Canada and we can learn a lot from our colleagues across the pond who are definately several years ahead of us.
