New York & New England; Picnic Shoulder $.99/lb.

For those living in New York and New England States; Hannaford has Smithfield picnic shoulders on sale for $.99 per pound. They are about 7.5 to 10 pounds in size. I picked up two 9 pounders. One I will do Cuban Style, and plan to cure the other one. I just may get two more and freeze them for future use.

Dang Hab, for that price I could fly down and pick a few up and bring them home and save money. :D ;D Better get extras or you'll be mad at yourself later down the road. (Trust me on this one).  :o :D :)

If they are fresh (not smoked - cured) I get that price here once in awhile. Otherwise their around 1.49 - 1.89 per pound... the price on them here has some crasy spreads.....

They are fresh, cryovac, and of high quality. I wish I had more freezer space.
