I saw the movie the Fog... well at 6 pm I watch as a thicker than mustard wall of fog came down the street to my house.  Dog-gone-down-right-scary-looking.... I could see my neighbor"s houses and how this wall of fog  made them  disappear....like white wash on a fence.

Grab my shot gun and my 9 and 380 said bring it on... If I don't post here again then you all will know the fog got me...

Strange, rumour has it that this is almost the exact opposite of what the crews of these two ships said when fog hit them..... "one minute it was clear and the next it was there!"

I expect there were a few other choce words flying round the two bridges as well.

I was going to blame the Alaskans but it turns out the Alaska Rainbow is in fact a Greek ship!!  ;) :D

I know several people who were on board the ferry and it sounded scary to say the least, they were breathing a sigh of relief thinking the tug boat had missed them when they saw a rope coming from the stern of the tug heading up into the mist! Then the bows of this bulk carrier appeared!  :o :o

Fortunately no one hurt....... thick fog is often called a "pea souper" on this side of the pond. All too common, especially when I am out in my boat!  :o

I had a wife like that once.   One minute she was here and the next minute she was completely gone.
May the fragrance of thin blue smoke always grace your backyard.
